2 Timothy 3v17: ‘…so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.’

To equip Christians, from the Bible, to serve God in an increasingly secular culture.

Equipped is a new Bible conference that so far has run for three years, 2015 to 2017. Our aim is to equip Christians, from the Bible, to serve God in an increasingly secular culture.

Why?
Christians are in an increasingly secular and sometimes hostile culture – that means:
• we need to understand the Bible better to serve God faithfully and to communicate the gospel.
• we need to stand together, united in the truth revealed in the Bible.

Equipped 317 is designed to make the best of contemporary Bible teaching available:
• at low cost to make this accessible to those on low incomes
• with a separate children’s programme to make the day accessible to families
• at a location off the A2 close to the M25 easily accessible from Kent and surrounding areas in the South East.

To read more about the origins and ethos of the event follow this link to Stephen Lloyd’s article in May 2015 Evangelicals Now.

As well as the main teaching sessions there has been a full children’s programme (Primary School age) throughout the day.

Equipped317 is organised by Hope Church, Gravesend, in partnership with the Association of Grace Baptist Churches (SE) who are helping to subsidise the event.

Equipped317 in 2019? This was the third Equipped317 conference. We do not intend to hold the event in 2018. Your feedback would be much appreciated as we decide whether to re-start the conference in 2019 and beyond. We will inform everyone on the mailing list about future plans. If you want to be removed from the mailing list please inform us.

That’s £5 for all sessions and refreshments a.m. and p.m. (lunch not included).
